Mourinho - Wenger Showdown

Tomorrow's showdown between Man United and Arsenal brings to sharp contrast the manager's approach to the game.

On one hand, we expect and it's likely that Mourinho will take a defensive approach, especially with an away trip. However, he turned out an open game vs Chelsea (which we lost). With Matic's fitness in doubt, the team balance is at stake. All the same, we expect most of the starting XI featured on Tuesday to start. On the hand, Wenger will be expected to out with a team bouyed from a 5-0 win but it was vs Huddersfield... All the same, their hime record is impressive. But this is Arsenal and their consistency is not so great. They don't have the defensive record to totally deny Man United goals, but their forwards seem to have waken up from their slumber. With Lacazette out injured and Sanchez in doubt... the predictions are hard to get. All the same, they will apply their one game move - possession and passing with high-speed counters. It's the usual fray and not much difference to it.

We asked two questions from the fans: Who should Mourinho field to counter Arsenal's attacking threat? Will a defensive approach with counter mindset work for Man United? Here are some of their responses:

Alan Fong Arsenal doesn't play well when meeting Man Utd either home or away. It'll be a very interesting game depending who is playing. I won't be surprise if Mourinho don't play Lukaku as I think the guy needs a rest n moreover he seems to be missing in games with the top 6 teams. Play Zlatan. The team will be more motivated if he plays. He could be the match winner too..

Collide MzuQka Bailly and Smalling in central defense,Valencia and Young on the wings,Pogba,Matic,Mkhi/Mata,Lingaard then Rashford and Lukaku..Martial does well as a sub, plus Fellaini

Phaice Baggio Mourinho will approach this game with same formation against Watford, playing three at the back with full backs playing as wings. This game will not be won or lost on formation. The Team that will play with passion and guts will win. Injuries on either side will not matter.
