Manchester United finished off the third 4-0 win this season by scattering Everton in the final minutes. Here are 10 things we learned from that game: 1. It was a double problem to start Rashford as a winger. First, he was bullied by defenders and got boxed in and he does not track back to defend, leaving Ashley Young with no support. Not his kind of game, this one, for sure.
2. Speaking of games, David De Gea made some quality saves there - things could have escalated but he's as reliable as ever.

3. We lost lots of chances. it was almost starting to look like last season all over again where slim leads were lost from lack of focus and lost opportunities. It's great to see the team fight to the final moments.
4. Lukaku fought. Like a lot. I know some people may have missed that out with the clear chances lost, but even that moment he just grabbed the ball and decided to take the free lick, you could see his mental status - he wanted to win, the wanted to scored. Plus that was a very selfless assist to Mkhitaryan for the second goal.
5. That first goal, however, is #AContender for the goal of the season because, as they put it - it did not touch he ground. His foot magically connected with the ball and the net shook! Great goal from Valencia. #Captain.
6. The best magic came from Matic - who turned up in Pogba's absence to steady the ship and boy, he was strong, he was there and he did his thing. Kudos to my man, Matic.

7. With Matic's performance, it could have gone better, but some players were having a slow day. It was not just the missed opportunities but both Mkhitaryan and Rashford did not serve well. Rashford got bullied because he could not outran the wing and seemed to find somewhere to connect the ball. Mkhi on the hand was slow, and so, Everton build up so quickly that there was no getting past them.
8. Another issue was in central defense. Despite this being a clean sheet, you can see that both Bailly and Jones had some missing something - giving Everton some great opportunities. This needs to be plugged before it becomes a problem,
9. But my! Anthony Martial was the best kind of problem to be introduced to the game. Coming on with just 5 minutes of play left, he did what Rashford and Mkhitaryan could not do - he get behind defenders. This was his kind of game - experienced defenders who play a tactical game with zonal and mana-on-man defending. It was poetic justice to see him score. I am not saying he needs to start overtime, but he's got the extra experience and ability to get past defenders that we need more of.

10. But before we become too much of an arm chair coach, let's remember that OT is becoming invincible and therefore, team come to defend. Therefore, it's the combined persistence on the first half, which we played really well and holding on for the second half that exhausted opposition and cheated chances. This season, we are winning the games we must win. Well done team. 10.1 Ander Herrera came on to do Ander Herrera's stuff. This was timely as the team had broken down in central defense. -- What else did you learn from the game?
