There was still time for United youngster to stab home a glorious effort minutes after he replaced Pogba after an hour. That was his first senior goal for the team and his relentless attacking play must have impressed the boss.

With Pogba providing a mesmerizing performance playing further forward, Jose was delighted to see his side provide a solid display as the UEFA Super Cup against Real Madrid looms.

United were without David de Gea, Jesse Lingard and Antonio Valencia who were rested and didn't even make the trip to Norway.
