United have finally gotten their man and boy! He's deadly in front of goal. But first, a moment of silence to Chelsea who can't comprehend how we managed to snatch their main transfer target from under their noses.

It's pretty simple to explain. No one turns down the chance to play for the biggest club in the world to go back to a club that's not even the biggest in London. Ouch!
'Lukaku doesn't score against the big teams' is a regular phrase you'll hear over and over from the deluded haters.
Well, I got an answer for them:
Goals against top 6 teams (16/17):
Lukaku: 4 goals
Kane: 3 goals
Aguero: 3 goals
Costa: 2 goals
Sanchez: 1 goal
The striker at 24 has already scored 165 career goals for club and country. Better than a handful of the world's leading strikers did at that age.

As a matter of fact, he was the only Premier League player in 2016/17 to score 5+ goals with his head, left and right foot. (12 left 7 right 6 head)
He guarantees goals. Will be brilliant to see him in red.
At Just 19 years of age Romelu Lukaku scored 17 goals in 35 Premier League games for lowly West Brom. Imagine what he could do for United!
He scored more goals from open play [21] than any other player in the Premier League last season and were it not for Harry Kane's late surge in the scoring charts, the Golden Boot award was destined for the Belgian.
Fact: Romelu Lukaku had the highest conversion rate (32.9%) of any PL player with 15+ goals in 2016/17.
I tell you what, Pogba and Lukaku can form one hell of a partnership in terms of goals:assists. Looking forward to see what comes of it! The Belgian even admires skills possessed by Pogba.
"I’m skillful but his (Pogba) skill he can get out of tight spaces and if I could have that, then I could score 10 to 15 goals more."
Whatever people say about Lukaku, he will score goals for Utd. That's a fact. He is big, strong, holds up the ball perfectly and has the needed Premier League experience to excel. Just what we needed.
He especially punishes the smaller teams that frustrated us last season!
Here's his return in the last 5 Premier League seasons and he'll only get better under Jose Mourinho.
2012/13 - 17 goals
2013/14 - 15 goals
2014/15 - 10 goals
2015/16 - 18 goals
2016/17 - 25 goals
Stats don't lie! But enough talk now. Watch his clinical finishing in the video below. He's a handful to defenders and this is simply what's costing us upwards of 75m.
How many goals do you think he'll score for United in his first season? Leave us a comment!
