"I think Alexis Sanchez now knows his name because he played amazingly well," that was Jose Mourinho's frank assessment of the defender just after the teenager kept Arsenal's leading striker quiet for 90 minutes.

In a game that Tuanzebe admitted left him thrilled but dissappointed with the result, we now take a look of this rapidly rising defensive star.
Here are ten things you probably didn't know about Axel:
He was born in the Democratic Republic of Congo, 19 years ago but moved to live in Rochdale, North West England as a kid where he has played for the England youth teams.
He is a technically sound defender, whose main position is center-back but versatile enough to fill in at fullback or defensive midfield.
He captained his school team and at the age of eight, he was already enrolled in the Man United youth team programmes. Simply put, he is destined for greatness.
He was the first fresh young talent to be selected as Youth team captain since Gary Neville, as revealed by former youth coach Paul McGuinness.
He won the Jimmy Murphy award for Man United's youth player of the year in 2015.
He made his United debut in January 2017, when he replaced Tim Fosuh-Mensah in the FA Cup match against Wigan Athletic at Old Trafford and consequently extended his professional contract to at least the summer of June 2020.
He made his Premier League and Man United full debut against Arsenal at the Emirates in our game where we lost 2-0 and consequently surrendered our 25-match unbeaten run.
He is a tall structure standing at 6ft 1" that's 1.83 meters, taller than Eric Bailly lol.
He once represented his school in cross-country and triple-jump competitions.
He is the younger brother of Clitheroe F.C. striker Dimitri Tuanzebe.
Watch the moment Axel sent Alexis Sanchez tumbling back to Chile....talk of a brick wall.
