Luke Shaw could regain his left-back spot despite Darmian and Ashley Young impressing last time out. There's a dilemma as to whether to stick with Romero who has been impressive in Europe or call upon the qualities of De Gea in such a huge clash.

This is a game we will be expected to control from start to finish, so having Michael Carrick back at the base of midfield could provide the perfect defensive cover as well as passing prowess going forward.

Paul Pogba and recent Man of the Match Ander Herrera could take up spots in midfield at the expense of Marouane Fellaini.
