When Manchester City won the title during the 2012/13 season with seconds to spare, something truly disturbing happened; the Eastlands’ outfit had a very unlikely pal in Sunderland FC.
While we may not share a rivalry with Sunderland FC, THE Black Cats did pull one of the most unjustified tactics by mocking us after City beat QPR in extra time via a Sergio Aguero strike to win the title.
Given that it was the final day of the campaign, all matches were being played simultaneously to avert any case of match-fixing; both the Man City vs. QPR match as well as the Sunderland vs. Manchester United clash were being staged concurrently and in the process providing us with a huge slice of drama and suspense.
Manchester United even took the lead at the Stadium of Light! What a perfect way to wrap up the campaign, or so we thought.
After the final whistle, we had won three important points that would have seen us bag the title at the expense of Man City who were being held to a draw by QPR with seconds to go.
It is at this moment that football fans, or rather Manchester United fans, had a destiny with nature’s unforgiving trait as Sergio Aguero buried a shot to guarantee Man City the title!
This was the moment when most Manchester United fans had a real chance to experiment what would ensue as a result of heart breaks.

It was particularly sorrowful for us to see Aguero do the damage to our hopes while we had the chance to acquire him together with De Gea from Atletico Madrid.
While Manchester United fans grieved due to the gory occurrences of being denied the title by a last-minute gasp, Sunderland FC fans took the chance to showcase their unrestrained knack to display outrageous scenes, and in the process outline their barbaric nature.
Immediately after word spread that Aguero had scored a last minute goal against QPR, the Black Cats’ fans at the Stadium of Light quickly celebrated in unison with the thuggish Eastlands’ outfit.
However, it was not an ordinary celebration for the reason that Sunderland’s fans did the Poznan, a favoured celebration by Man City supporters.
Everyone was lost for words when this unfortunate spectacle unfolded right before our eyes! These thugs even did the Poznan celebration without understanding the meaning behind it.
Similarly, you cannot dish out accolades to Manchester City either given that they copied the Poznan celebration of Lech Poznan, a football team that plays in the Polish League.
It is not a wonder that Manchester City had shown us who they really are after copied this celebration; in reality, they were just admitting that they cannot come up with something unique or even muster the courage to invent their own form of celebration.
Football hooliganism had been re-defined through such an act and nothing from the Black Cats will ever mellow our hearts!
The only thing that Sunderland can do for us is to acquire Fellaini now that Moyes is in charge.

To be honest, any sane Manchester United fan would place Sunderland in almost the same category as Manchester City and Liverpool!
We endlessly pray that Sunderland will get relegated one of these days – never mind whoever is in charge.
In a world that is laced with progressive approaches as espoused by liberalism, it would only be ideal for a person to forgive. However, that can be entertained in our thoughts until you mention the likes of Sunderland FC to Manchester United fans.
Essentially, nothing like forgiving Sunderland FC can be related to what we think and advocate.
Our beliefs and thoughts cannot allow us to be held hostage by the blinding aspect that only seems to call for negating that which was curtailed by Sunderland.
Only tolerance is compelling us to act in a civil manner when in the midst of anyone who seems to entertain the Sunderland’s style of play.
Christmas does not always come early – sometimes it is a result of what happens on this day! That couldn’t come truer than the fact that Manchester United will be detain Moyes-led Sunderland FC on Boxing Day.
The scenario is further emboldened by the realization that Moyes will be attempting to stage a comeback at the exact place he helped destroy with his demented ideologies as regards football.
It is one thing to destroy a venture and walk away, while it is another to do the same and dare to ever come back while leading a rival entity.
Holocaust may vary as per the descriptions of many people, but we all have a collective feeling when describing the outcomes involved.
Well, while we are not planning some savage antics of depriving Moyes’ lads the basic issues of life, we are daring to launch that which has never been seen on the football scenery – a better or humble version of saying that Sunderland will be lucky not to get maimed and mugged by Manchester United.
No amount of words can wholly explain the feeling that Manchester United fans show whenever they whip team and gain three points.
Being a festive season, the mood is jolly and it would only be perfect to wrap it up with a fantastic display that extensively mugs Sunderland FC.

It would be an understatement to say that Manchester United will clobber Sunderland – in reality, the Reds will put a performance that re-defines football’s values and ideological approach.
When football’s gross whippings against an opposition will be mentioned, expect to hear the mention of the Sunderland vs. Man United match.
Crucially, the match will be a huge chance for Mourinho to build up on a momentous surge that has seen the team slowly scale upwards in the English Premier League.
Furthermore, the match provides an opportunity for Zlatan Ibrahimovic to add to his tally in the league and surpass the likes of Sergio Aguero and Diego Costa.

On the whole, Sunderland may not be a top side and whipping them doesn’t translate into a colossal achievement.
However, letting Moyes gain even a point against Manchester United would be nothing short of a disastrous showing.
Thankfully, we do not intend to handle Moyes and Sunderland with kids’ gloves.
