Manchester United are 6 points behind Arsenal as we go into the weekend clash.
A win would see the gap lessen to just five points behind leaders Liverpool.
However, the Wenger boys have been on a good, consistent start with 10 wins in their last 12 games.
Their success has been due to their ability to retain the ball and their midfield dominance brings a start contrast to Man United's inconsistent game.
While Mourinho's tactics may not reside on dominance, which we agree to provided it brings results, he needs to ensure there is control in the midfield to avoid senseless loss of the ball and giving Arsenal too much possession deep in United's half.
Here are five things Mourinho needs to do to bring back control in the midfield.

1. Michael Carrick needs to start: Carrick has started in six games this season and we've won in all of them.
We need him once more, this weekend as he's got fresh legs having not had international duty and also because he's that metronome of control that the lads need.
2. Paul Pogba needs to be Paul Pogba: Pogback's moments are becoming more and more common. Herrera said the Frenchman's success is due to Mou giving him freedom to roam the midfield.
Cool - and that is why Carrick needs to start. He can offer that.
3. Wayne Rooney needs to start: Rooney is slowly coming to himself and we've all witnessed the devastation of his being off the pitch.
Rooney brings control with his passes and football sight.
Of course, he does assist and loves to score against Arsenal - so it will not hurt, either.

4. The return of Antonio Valencia: Valencia has had 50/50 moments vs Arsenal but we are at that time of the season when Arsenal's beginning to get fatigue (we hope) and of course, Valencia in #BeastMode is just what we need on the wings to bring defensive cover for the right wings... so that;
5. Juan Mata can start on the right wing vs. Arsenal.

Saturday is a must win game for Man United. Mourinho goes into it facing his arch nemesis and there are things that he must keep a tradition if we are continue forgiving him for being number 6; and beating Arsenal is one of this traditions.
Is midfield control the thing for this Saturday or should we be looking more for domination?
