Manchester United's 3-1 win over Bournemouth wrapped up the season in a way we've come to expect this season: bittersweet.

Here are 10 things we learned from that game.

1. What an awful bit of bad luck there for David De Gea - to be so close and yet so far. ‪#‎UnFairISay‬ ‪#‎Almost‬ 2. You saw Mata playing the playmaker right? You saw that?! I did and I was like - for nearly two seasons this guy's been... smh. So wrong, when players are played out of position. 3. Speaking of which, Ashford man-o-man! Awesome this guy. ‪#‎WonderKid‬ 4. Even Martial's substitutes score goals: Ashley Young got it. ‪#‎Missedhimthisseason‬ 5. Another effect of positioning: look how Rooney has thrived in midfield. ‪#‎WhatAWasteofTalent‬ 6. It comes round. Football comes round and after all the experiments and philosophies, it seems on playing players in position and letting the creative juices flow will give good performance. 7. I feel for Chris Smalling - to have been so good this season and then that OG. ‪#‎PoleBaba‬ aka ‪#‎Sorrydude‬ 8. What is it with Man United and first half this season? I swear it's like they are doused in cold water and have to thaw - that's the reason for such a huuuuuuuge goal difference with Man City. We need to improve first half performances. 9. That Shot Valencia made... and the keeper almost lost his fingertips! ‪#‎Thunderbolt‬ 10. When you miss Champions League spot and have to watch all that talent hung their heads... ‪#‎SadStateOfAffairs‬ --- What did you learn from last night's game?
