Good morning, Manchester United won 2-0 against WBA and here are 10 things we learned from last night's game:

1. It's the reign of the youth, and the future belongs to them.
2. Anthony Martial Officiel has a way with breaching any defence no matter how difficult and solid it is and even with 4 defenders around him!
3. Jesse Lingard is very positive and attack minded, always pressing forward and looking for an opportunity to score - awesome.

4. Michael Carrick, still the maestro.
5. Marcos Rojo brilliant - but needs to work on final delivery. All the same, it was great seeing the bad boy smiling because he always had one over the WBA attack. Always.
6. Chris Smalling might want to empty his pockets and get Rondon out. Mike totally owned him.
7. The best attack is a good defence - against one of the strongest away teams, United's attack was too much for WBA to waistband 90 minutes of it. Perfect.
8. Yes, the build up might be slow, but this is #theprocess and the players seem attuned to it, and even if the rivals prepare and practice to defend for 90 minutes, there will always be breaks and openings to score.
9. With such teamwork and cohesive, David De Gea is having very little to do of late.
However, must appreciate his concentration because after having 2 seasons when the defence was leaky, he must now be on holiday.

10. Must appreciate Van Gaal's substitutions of Ashley Young and Marcos Rojo for Phil Jones and Cameron Borthwick-Jackson.
Young was not having a good day and Rojo needed his rest and cover because of the yellow card.
10.1 Juan Mata matters. Kept his cool, got a goal.
10.1 Van Gaal bringing in Ander Herrera for Wayne Rooney was good practice and the best time, because The Captain had a good game but looked exhausted before his send off. Best decision and best time to take it.

10.2 Daley Blind continues to amaze with his passes and spot on long-balls.
