Everton vs Manchester United, battle zones and key players:
🔴 Chris Smalling vs Romero Lukaku: English vs Belgium. Who'll come on top? If Chris Smalling goes into #beastmode and contain Lukaku - there will be reprieve at the at back to give more control in the midfield.
Daley Blind will also come in handy to manage Lukaku.
🔴 Speaking of the midfield - this is Everton's battle-field and there player to watch is Ross Barkley.
That is why Morgan Schneiderlin's inclusion is very important in this game. Barkley's speed cannot be contained by either Bastian Schweinsteiger or Michael Carrick whom, as LVG found out - when played together, are beaten by faster opponents despite their tactical awareness.
Schneiderlin will add speed & power in the midfield.
🔴 Anthony Martial Officiel vs anybody else: Martial according to opponents is hard to mark, if he gets a good supply from either Juan Mata or Ashley Young from the wings, he should fly.
🔴 Number 10(Internal Battle): Wayne Rooney vs Ander Herrera... Van Gaal came to his senses last yesterday and declared that Wayne Rooney could get selected.
This is a change of tune where, since his arrival, LVG has never dropped the Captain.
Rooney has been accused of complacency and despite SAF saying he'll get his back his form, he has such bad luck against Everton that - maybe sitting on the bench will do everyone a favour.
