Wayne Rooney, Andreas Pereira and Anthony Martial scored last night to move Man United in the next round of the Carling Cup where they will face Middlesbrough.
We expected a win and totally expect that trophy - and this is what we learned:
1. The future is bright - those youngsters rock!

2. When Rooney scores - players & fans unclenched.

3. Andreas Pereira has done something to get into first team, surely, right?

4. Anthony Martial... *sigh.

5. Bastian Schweinsteiger is a tank a general and all those things. He controlled, directed and made awesome passes.

6. It was very balsy of Pereira to take that kick - even Mata 'allowed' it - he must be good at them, right?
7. Memphis may not have scored, but he assisted and he was strong.

8. Jones - Hi Phil Jones - that was you there and you were ok. Welcome back.
9. Seeing Valencia like that, I realised I missed him.

10. Daley Blind is turning out to be having an even better second season. It's like there's nothing he can't do.

10.1 4 goals in 4 matches...
10.2 What else did you learn from that game? #GGMU
